Eccles Remembered |

| Eccles was bathed in autumn sunshine to remember those who served their Country with a parade through the Town Centre followed by a wreath laying service at the Cenotaph. | |
| The procession, which assembled at Henley's Club, Barton Lane proceeded up to the Cenotaph in Church Street where the Remembrance Service commenced at 10.45am. A large crowd of people had gathered to pay their respects to the Country’s Fallen Heroes. | |
| The “Last Post” was sounded at 11:00am followed by a two minutes silence. A Council representative then laid a wreath on the memorial followed by representatives of various organisations and members of the public. The procession assembled once again and returned to Henley’s Club applauded by the crowds. | |
